The premise of the mod was quite interesting, a puzzle mod with a focus on platforming rather than the usual shooty-mcbangbang.
I was willing to tolerate having to change maps manually, opting to extinguish any scathing comments on the mapper's inability to study how trigger_changelevels work, in the hopes that the gameplay'll make up for any shortcomings.
Unfortunately, the gameplay element of the mod leaves much to be desired. Tricky jumps are one thing, but a significant amount of the mod demands trial and error rather than actually using your brain to solve these malformed mutants masquerading as "puzzles".
Often times you will hop on a block expecting safety or progress, only to then be dropped to your death without so much as a hint. There's also sections that have invisible floors, also requiring trial and error to figure out which part that the player can walk on and which part'll send them to their deaths.
The aesthetics, while unique, simply did not do enough to warrant trudging through miserable gameplay. Mostly plain colors that'll burn into your eyes the longer you play. No catchy music, no ambience, no characters or story that might grip me to stick around. Halfquake this is sadly not. I just cannot in good heart recommend this mod.
